Dr Martin Russell
Below is a practical starting list for a GP, work-injury doctor, or clinic in Adelaide for a Work Capacity Certificate or ongoing RTWSA / WorkCover claims.
[Have other questions about finding or choosing a Workcover doctor in Adelaide? – Go here.]
Although I only see purely psychological claims, all these GPs and services will see any RTWSA claim – physical, psychological and combinations of both.
This is not an official RTWSA GP list, but it is a practical starting point…

The best step is usually to phone the clinic and be upfront. Explain that you need a GP / doctor for an RTWSA / WorkCover claim, and check whether that clinic can provide a Work Capacity Certificate and ongoing medical reviews.
This prevents any surprises and allows the clinic to book a longer consultation if that is needed.
Remember also to check how they handle fees, and whether you need to pay upfront, or whether they will invoice RTWSA directly.
Be aware that some doctors who call themselves workcover doctors are actually medical specialists, such as Orthopaedic Surgeons or Occupational Physicians. To get started seeing them, you will need a referral from a GP.
If you really have found a GP who is not on this list, and they are willing to see new patients, drop me a note.
I’d be delighted to add them in!
